Yamuna was born in 2001. Her father left the family and married for a second time with another woman. Yamuna’s mother took care of her and her two brothers. She works for other people on their fields, but this isn’t providing the family with enough for education. Yamuna comes from Kalchowk, a village near the hostel. She has lived in the hostel since April of 2009. She is now in her first year of +12 science.
